Free classifieds are literally for free. Another disadvantage is that these classifieds will limit the number of spaces, characters, pictures and even the color of the ads you want to publish. Some classified owners will only allow you to use black and white color only. This will make your ads more unnoticeable by your customers, and this could potentially decrease your sales in the future as well.

Paid classified ads are great for business with bigger profits or with bigger income. This is due to the fact that classified ads is quite expensive but is one of the effective ways to publish your business. In paid classifieds, you have to pay the amount depending on the size and the kind of ads you want to publish. The bigger the size the more expensive it gets, but the more attention you get from your customers. It is also advantageous due to the fact that you can choose any colors you want and be creative with your ad space.

While classified ads are a great way to advertise your business, there are also a million ways to advertise. You can use social networking sites such as Facebook or Tweeter accounts to advertise your business. Almost all of the customers have their own accounts in these popular networking sites and this could be an effective method to advertise.
